Words Need To Have Meaning

Listening to Hugh Hewitt on the radio this afternoon in Hawaii got me thinking about "words" and when you put them together, what are they supposed to mean?  When you read a newspaper about a particular subject it should state facts and facts only!  Anything beyond that is conjecture or opinions.  Nowadays, you must be on guard to know the difference and try to separate the facts from opinions.  The normal red-blooded American has a very hard time unless you can do some heavy research that takes time.  Consequently, many people rely on that source (the newspaper) to give them the knowledge they need to talk and convey thoughts at the water cooler.  Here is what I think is going on across the country...  depending on where you live, depends heavily on how slanted, opinionated, contrived or even blasphemous the news can be.  Hawaii is definitely a blue state and the two newspapers report stories biased heavily to the left.  We can't even get all the candidates for office to show their party affiliations on campaign literature for the candidates fear of voters not seeing past that and getting their message.  Headline:  "U.S. Refuses To Negotiate With North Korea".  Truth or Lie?? (Deception to the max).  What about "North Korea Wants Bilateral Talks"?  Or "U.S. Proposes 6 Nation Talks With North Korea".  Get the point?  I get it but how many voters on November 7th that actually vote will use common sense and wisdom to elect our officials.  I will not sit home and refuse to vote because I have faith that there are many people that think like me!
